Michelle Sands, Sleep Director for Silent Night Therapy and RDH, was featured in the Suffolk Reporter, where she discussed alternative sleep apnea treatments. Sleep apnea is traditionally treated with a device called a CPAP machine. CPAPs are notoriously bulky, noisy, and uncomfortable. On top of all that, there is now a recall of millions of devices. Some Phillips CPAP machines were manufactured with a faulty foam that breaks down over time, causing the user to inhale dangerous particles while using the device.

As a result, Michelle has noticed that many are choosing a CPAP alternative oral appliance.
